Winner of the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence Award for 2014 & 2015, our yurt glamping (definition: glamorous camping) site is ideally situated for your yurt holiday. Our yurt camp is only 3 miles from the edge of the New Forest National Park, easy walking distance to the local pub, close to the village of Bransgore with excellent local shops and surrounded by Sopley Farm pick your own fields (seasonal veg available). We are only 15 minutes from the nearest beach at Highcliffe Castle.

Sopley Lake Yurt Camp is run by Forest Yurts. We pride ourselves on the service we provide you and the quality of your glamping holiday. We are mad about yurts and providing you with the best possible experience. Our yurt camp is open from April 1st to October 31st.

Maharaja's Yurt Sleeps 4

New for 2015! The Maharaja's Yurt. Heavily influenced by the fabrics and furnishings of India and particularly around Rajasthan, our interior designer has been working on this new yurt for the last six months. We are very excited! Book a stay in The Maharaja's Yurt.

The yurts themselves are nestled in trees on the edge of Sopley Lake. Backed on to by a meadow and stream, lined with wild flowers during the summer months. The lake is abundant with wild fowl and fish (fishing is available from May), and other visitors to Sopley Lake yurts include a barn owl and roe and fallow deer.

Double Dragon Yurts sleeps 8

We have four sites available with a total of five yurts, each site has it's own private facilities including campfire, bathroom with eco-loo and hot shower, and fully equipped sheltered cooking station. The yurts have been individually decorated by our interior designer, each yurt is unique and filled with furnishings from the Far East, North Africa and the Middle East. All you have to bring is personal items. We provide towels and bedding, tableware and kitchenware, and can even stock your fridge with food for the BBQ from the local farm shop for your arrival. Sopley Farm at the entrance also sells seasonal fruit and veg picked from the surrounding fields. Logs are available on site. We are also dog friendly!

Whether you are after a romantic weekend (see our Love Yurt), getting away with the kids, or looking to experience glamping in the UK, Sopley Lake Yurt Camp will surpass your expectations. We also cater of the quieter yurt hen party. We have increased our capacity for 2015 to 24 persons.
